ALMOND CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

VEGAN & GF  

350F @ 8-10 MINUTES

YIELD: 12 COOKIES 

TOTAL TIME: 15 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 CUP ALMOND BUTTER 
  • 1/2 CUP MAPLE SYRUP or DATE SYRUP
  • 1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 1/4 CUP ALMOND FLOUR (can use brown rice flour)
  • 2TBSP FLAX MEAL 
  • DASH OF HIMALAYAN SALT 
  • 1/3 CUP ENJOY LIFE CHOCOLATE CHIPS  (any vegan choc. chips)


OPTIONAL ADD INS

  • CRUSHED ALMONDS 

DIRECTIONS

  1. PRE-HEAT oven to 350F
  2. COMBINE almond butter, syrup, vanilla extract
  3. ADD flour & salt 
  4. MIX until all combined 
  5. FOLD-IN the chocolate chips and almonds *
  6. FORM dough into balls or roll out and cut out cookies if desired, these cookies will bake in whatever form you make them in, they are not like your typical cookies that melt into a traditional cookie!
  7. BAKE for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown on the bottom
